Having spent many years running the world-renowned restaurant, Cutters of Barbados, husband and wife team Roger and Kim approached us to help them launch their Very Special Rum Punch.
Roger and Kim explained to us that every island in the Caribbean have a rum punch they believe is the best. Having won numerous awards throughout the Caribbean, Cutters Very Special Rum Punch have a very strong claim to this title. With this in mind, we set to work creating a brand that embodied Cutters’ Barbadian provenance.
We developed a brand strategy and visual identity inspired by the national flag, the striking colour of the local chattel houses, and the warm, welcoming nature of the Barbadian people. The packaging design for the bottles and ready-to-drink cans echoes the vibrancy of the island, whilst the tagline ‘Feel the Warmth’ alludes to both the Caribbean climate and the disposition of its inhabitants.
Cutters Rum Punch will be launched in the Caribbean throughout January 2019 and will come to the UK later in the year.
